First part of my sabbatical is nearly over. I went back from Jan Juc / Torquay to Melbourne yesterday and started packing for my next trip to Hawaii.
It was an awesome time here in Australia with lots of surfing (more than 20 days), sightseeing and traveling to Tasmania, Phillip Island, Wilsons Prom and other places.
I can tell you that 6 weeks are not enough for surfing. You can always have more days because you are depending on the weather and the tides which can effect your surfing plans.
During the last days where I spent two nights again at Jo’s amazing place in Jan Juc and had some good surf days. Last Wednesday we had a massive swell coming through. After surfing my self at Pt Addis I went to Bells Beach and took some photos of some guys surfing there. You will find them in the Travel Picture Book.
